Have you or your vehicle been damaged?

Pothole Damage

If you or your vehicle has been damaged as a result of poorly maintained roads you may have a valid claim for compensation, from the authority that manages the road.

Report the defect

It is important to make sure that the defect is reported to the relevant authority, to make them aware of the defect. Pictures are very useful for this, however they should only be taken if it is safe to do so. Never endanger yourself.

Making a claim

You will need to ensure that you have the details of the authority that is responsible for the road that has caused damage and contact them directly to follow their claims procedure.

Timelines

Ensure that you have made the claim in a timely manner after the incident and also keep on top of the authority for updates regarding your claim.
